The MoraKniv 164 has a 50mm stainless steel blade and comes optionally as a left-handed or right-handed grip.
The blade has been optimised to make it run more smoothly over the inside of the spoon or bowl. The improved edge bevels complete the blade giving you the finest carving experience.
To protect both your fingers and the blade – these knives now come optional with a simple but ingeniously designed blade sheath; made from Swedish vegetable tanned leather manufactured with cowhides from the region in which MoraKniv reside.

NOTE FROM MANUFACTURER:
"Any rust that is formed on the blade is because of the soft iron at the side of the blade and the higher content of carbon in the steel that is used. The soft laminated steel is highly desirable for woodworking, and Morakniv are the only company that produce it."
We recommend the use of camelia oil as a rust preventative oil that should be regularly used on these knives.
