Router Plate Blank Insert
A Blank Insert 'Ring' to fit your Sherwood Router Plate.
This insert comes without a centre hole so you can drill whatever size hold you require, anywhere between 1mm - 90mm.
Alternatively, it can be used to create a perfect Zero-Clearance Insert. Simply insert it into your Sherwood router mount plate and raise the moving router bit through it - this is not commonly available in most other mount plate systems.
Every single component of the Sherwood Router Table range has been engineered to perform and to never let you down. The insert rings are no exception. Rather than taking the easy option and injection moulding simple plastic inserts that are brittle, prone to cracking, and will break if ever coming into contact with a router bit - the Sherwood insert rings are milled from dense, stabilised phenolic.
High-quality phenolic can be machined just like steel to mechanical engineering standards. The twist-lock design ensures perfect mating with the Sherwood aluminium mounting plates, making them perfectly flat with the surrounding surface.
