A new, improved and super-flat 400 kilogram capacity mobile machine base
A slight flaw with the design of the standard 400kg machine base is that when the feet are engaged so it cannot move, the base is on a slight angle, meaning your machines are too. While this is less of an issue with table saws or thicknessers, for some machines like jointers for instance, this can make them uncomfortable to use as they are not visually flat on the ground - which can be disconcerting when you're trying to deal with straight timber and could end up working on a sloped machine.

This deluxe kit replaces the two fixed castor brackets which causes this issue so all four corners have the swivelling castors with adjustable feet to fix it in place, keeping the base and machine level. A downside of this is depressing all four pedals, but the upside is a base that can be setup flat - so it will depend on your application as to which mobile base is more suitable.

While it may sound unbelievable – this base actually makes relatively light work of moving even the heaviest machine around the workshop – a person of average fitness and strength would be able to use this to move around machines weighing up to 400kg (or 900lb)!!!
This heavy-duty mobile machine base has four swiveling castors – with the swiveling castors engaging to move the machine by pushing down on two heavy-duty steel foot levers. It can accept machines with a base size from a minimum 460x620mm to a maximum 720x850mm and a maximum weight capacity of 400kg (or 900lb).
The base is manufactured from heavy-duty steel plate and RHS tube, is easy to assemble, and adjusts in 25mm increments to fit virtually any woodworking machine. Once mounted the machine height is raised by less than 25mm to keep a comfortable working height.
