These accurate mitre sliders are perfect for the most demanding jig applications! They’re ideal for making your own jigs to fit standard 19mm mitre slots. Create crosscut sleds, mitring jigs, coping sleds – the possibilities are endless.
The high-grade aluminium construction is far more rigid than wooden or plastic runners, so they won’t seize up or rattle with changes in humidity or temperature.
Torquata Mitre Bars are drilled and tapped with two separate bolt sizes: M5 and M6 to quickly attach the bars to your own custom jigs.
Long lasting nylon adjusting washers conveniently adjust from the top and provide a precise fit in the mitre slot of most table saws, router tables, and bandsaws. The nylon washers give the bars a smooth, low-friction travel.
Included are removable retaining discs for both ends of the bar, for situations where you need to make sure your jig stays on the table.
Torquata Mitre Bars will fit square-sided mitre slots with a nominal width of 3/4in x 3/8in deep, and with or without a 5/16in wide T-slot at the bottom. The nylon washers will accommodate slots 18.8mm to 19.3mm in actual width.
