Narex Tapered Burnisher for Card Scrapers and Cabinet Scrapers

The Narex Tapered Burnisher is designed to put precisely-angled burrs on your scraper blades.

Narex have created a beautiful version of the discontinued Stanley 185 burnisher, with a round shaft that is tapered from the handle to the tip. But what really sets this burnisher apart is a second 30° taper at the end.

It is common to over-bend our burrs. An over-bent burr leads to a card scraper that only cuts when it is pushed over at an awkward angle, or a cabinet scraper that won’t cut at all! The solution is to gently run the point of the Narex Tapered Burnisher along underneath the burr at 30°, producing a more consistent, effective cutting angle - letting you hold the scraper nearly upright.
