Narex Set of 8 Engraving Palm Chisels for Woodcut and Linocut

Narex’s Engraving Palm Chisels are handmade tools of the highest quality, designed for professional carvers.

A complete set of carefully-designed and beautifully-balanced tools for woodblock print-making, relief carving, and linocut. Made in the Czech Republic, they feature blades forged from Chrome-Vanadium tool steel and heat treated to 61-62 HRc in hardness. Their handles are carved from beech to fit comfortably in the hand, with stained and varnished surfaces. Each one has a flat side, preventing it from rolling off your workbench when not in use. 

These tools will take precise, smooth cuts when pushed with the hand. They are not designed to be struck with a mallet. They are presented in a handsome timber stand that can either be placed on the workbench surface, or wall-mounted using the hangers on the rear surface. An excellent addition to all creative workshops and art spaces.   

Each chisel measures approximately 150mm in length.
