Compatibility
The SpheroPlane is compatible with the Arbortech Power Carving Unit™ as well as any standard 115mm (4 1/2in) or 125mm (5in) angle grinder with an M14 thread. The SpheroPlane can be used at a variable speed, corded or cordless grinder, as long as it runs at a speed of 9000 RPM or higher.
When choosing an angle grinder to suit the blade, you should look for the following features:
- An auxiliary handle to ensure easier balance, manage and control. Using the handle when carving not only improves user comfort and visibility but increases user safety.
- On/Off switch to be positioned on the top or side
- Minimum of 550 Watts power
