These chisels are carefully forged and heat treated by skilled craftsmen in to produce an heirloom quality tool.

Kirschen tools are still crafted in the way they were made decades ago. The blades are forged from the finest steel and carefully heat treated to 61 Rc. The chisels are then polished to a mirror finish and fitted with the perfect sized handle suited to the blade width. Electronic monitoring during the forging and hardening process ensures that high standards are consistently maintained.

Kirschen Firmer Chisels are fitted with an oval wooden handle that fits comfortably in the hand, with a double loop to protect the handle when striking with a mallet. An incredibly strong and well-made tool, but not heavy – this is a well-balanced tool that will offer incredible control over the finest projects. The cutting edges are ground with a standard angle of approximately 25°. Handles measure 120mm in length.
