Knots may add natural character to timber, but defects, voids and damage can present problems when a clean finish is required. Power Adhesives' Knottec system provides a fast and practical way to repair these imperfections.
The specially formulated knot-filling adhesive can be used to repair knot defects as well as deep scratches, cuts and other forms of wood damage. Its tough characteristics make it suitable for a wide range of applications, including doors, window frames, furniture and flooring.
Knottec is available in 15 colours to blend in with the surrounding timber, or the natural knot. Knottec sets quickly and can be easily trimmed and sanded, aiding in a seamless repair without unnecessary workflow delay.
Fast, Strong Bonding with Tecbond Adhesives
Power Adhesives also offers Tecbond hot melt adhesives for applications where an immediate, strong bond is important. Specially formulated low-viscosity Tecbond adhesives can make jobs such as cleat assembly and V-groove joinery faster and more straightforward. Their ability to set almost instantly eliminates the need for clamps in suitable applications.
Tec 808: Cordless Performance
A quality adhesive also needs the right applicator. The Tec 808 is Power Adhesives' high-performance cordless 12 mm hot melt applicator. Taking approximately three minutes to reach full temperature, the Tec 808 is built to minimise downtime, offering a high melt rate of up to 2 kg per hour. Power Adhesives have ingeniously created DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee cordless battery adaptors, so you can use the Tec 808 on the go.
A Cleaner, More Sustainable Bonding Solution
