Fitted indexing plate
Your Scroll Chuck features a fitted indexing plate. It has 24 numbered positions set out at 15-degree intervals. Each position has a pin hole in the back of the plate and a slot in the side of the plate. An indexing attachment can then be used to add decorative features to a spindle or bowl at set intervals.
Hardened steel jaws
The four interchangeable steel jaws fix easily and securely to the hardened steel jaw sliding mechanisms. The interchangeable jaws are easily and quickly changed out to suit the work at hand. The fully enclosed scrolling gear means it will run smooth and not get clogged with shavings.
