If you want to turn wood, you need a Torquata Scroll Chuck.

Please note: To ensure your Torquata TSC-100 Scroll Chuck fits the spindle of your lathe, you will also need a scroll chuck Insert Adapter.

To ensure your scroll chuck fits your lathe, you will need to purchase an insert adapter. The Torquata TSC-100 Scroll Chuck features an M40 thread so it will accept an insert adapter to fit a broad range of lathe spindles. If you are unsure about what the spindle size of your lathe is, refer to your lathe's technical manual.

Torquata Insert Adapters

Torquata Insert Adapters are made from solid machined steel. The inserts are threaded both inside and out, so they screw into the back of your scroll chuck and then your lathes headstock spindle. Simple.

it would help to have the size or specs etched or stamped on the outside of the unit..........because some users, like me, will have two or more of these adaptors.

Very knowledgeable people. I would like to see Timbercom stocking a few not so common Lathe accessories. I have an old though very good English Lathe. It has a 3/4 inch 16 tpi drive spindle and I couldn’t buy a chuck or templates for this model. I also couldn’t huy a 1 TM drive spur. I Finally hot what I needed elsewhere from another state. Im sure i am not the only person in WA with a not so common Lathe. I have purchased a lot from Timbercom and will do in the future. It’s just I could have given them a lot more business if they stocked sad some not so common accessories, cheers Ric S
