Kirschen tools are known around the world for their exceptional quality and edge retention, making these bevel edge chisels are a must have for any shop.
Kirschen tools are still largely crafted in the way they were made decades ago, forged from the finest steel and carefully heat treated to 61 Rc for exceptional edge retention along the entire working length of the blade. The chisels are then polished to a mirror finish and fitted with the perfect sized handle suited to the blade width. Electronic monitoring during the forging and hardening process ensures that high standards are consistently maintained.
Kirschen Firmer Chisels are fitted with an oval wooden handle that fits comfortably in the hand, with a double loop to protect the handle when striking with a mallet. An incredibly strong and well-made tool, but not heavy – this is a well-balanced tool that will offer incredible control over the finest projects. The cutting edges are ground with a standard angle of approximately 25°. Handles measure 120mm in length.
This set contains the most useful sizes of Kirschen’s popular bevel edge chisels in a convenient suede leather storage roll. Made to last year after year, or even generation after generation.
