With over 100 years of production, Higonokami crafts high-quality, durable, and lightweight traditional Japanese knives.

This Higonokami Folding Knife is a simple yet beautiful addition to the kit of all craftspeople. Forged using the classic Blue Paper Steel #2, known as Aogami Warikomi, these knives feature a high-carbon steel renowned for its astonishing sharpness and excellent edge retention. The ‘Sandwich’ structure encloses the steel core with soft iron. With a double-edged V-shape, you can use either side, regardless of your dominant hand.

Due to the iron content of the blade, these folding knives require a small amount of care to prevent surface rust. Be sure to thoroughly dry after each use and oil the blade as needed.
