The body of the plane is filled with well-seasoned desert hardwood, celebrating the famous durability and beauty of Australia’s desert hardwoods – which themselves are no match for the 18% HSS blade.

Innovative Adjustment

Unlike on traditional Norris-style adjusters, the lateral adjustment on the Ironbark is done without de-centring the depth adjuster. Instead, an ingenious ‘V2’ adjuster allows the blade to be fine-tuned laterally completely independently from the depth knob.
