Say goodbye to those days, as the new Sherwood Magnetic Quick Connection has now swept onto the shelves to be the solution to your hose switching sorrows.
Eight Rare Earth Magnets inset within the flange join to an opposing magnetic layer. This allows the two ends to quickly and easily be paired or unpaired.
The magnetic join creates a tight seal that ensures no air flow is lost, so you can be sure that you’re not sacrificing performance for convenience. An elevated wall around the flange securely nestles the opposing end, preventing any movement once joined.
This kit includes two Flexible Hose Tool-Free Clamps, with an easy winder handle, to secure the flexible hose onto the tapered outlet.

Sherwood magnetic coupling set. These magnetic couplings work very well they are easy to hook up and quick to switch between machines. My only issue is i ordered two sets and only received 1 set.
I got several of these to make switching from 3 different machines faster and it’s saving me a lot of time and aggravation with the never ending tightening and loosening clamps every time I want to switch machines

These fittings installed easily in my 100mm PU ducting courtesy of the long flange with a nice taper. The clamps are easy to tighten and the magnetic joints are secure yet easy to separate. They work so well I ordered some more! Very robust manufacture, too.

It is not as strong as I'd hoped so it can't hold the weight of the extraction hose in my current set-up. I'm going to have to redesign my extraction system to get it to work.
The product seems to work well. The fitting doesn't fit every type of machine, but with a short length of pipe you can adapt it.

Work quite well
Quick and easy. Previously had Junctions and blast gates. Now i can quickly connect a single house at a time for a better air flow.
