The DFC 500 is built for mobile use. It’s powered by a high-performance 18-volt battery, which allows you to work independently of power outlets—ideal for construction sites or flexible workshop setups.

Enhanced Design and Precision

Festool has significantly upgraded the core tool, starting with the guide frame. It now features a robust double column guide and a user-friendly turn-tilt quick-release lever for fast, secure adjustments. The standout feature is the innovative stop system. It uses four lockable stop pins that enable precise, repeatable positioning of the machine. This eliminates the need for time-consuming measuring and marking for repetitive dowel placements, ensuring speed and accuracy on site. The improved guide frame offers enhanced stability and flexibility. The joiner will work with slot cutter diameters of 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm to a maximum routing depth of 28mm.

Ergonomics and Efficiency

The machine is designed for long, productive days. The ergonomically shaped spade handle with a soft grip ensures comfortable, fatigue-free operation. Weighing just 3.4 kilograms, the DFC 500 is light and easy to handle. The integrated stop pins allow for the fast and repeatable setting of dowel groups, significantly boosting efficiency.

The DOMINO Advantage

The DOMINO dowels are unique. Their special oval shape is designed to be extremely stable and torsion-resistant, combining the precision of a round dowel with the flexibility of a flat dowel. They are available in various sizes, suitable for everything from fine joinery to heavy, solid workpieces.

A core technology is Festool's unique pendulum milling principle: a combination of rotary and pendulum motion. This not only ensures perfectly clean and precise joints but also extends the cutter's lifespan by reducing heat buildup.

Complete System Support

The DOMINO system is supported by a wide range of accessories, including dowels in various sizes (4×20 mm to 10×50 mm) and different wood types for interior and exterior use. It also includes useful system additions like round and profile stops and detachable connection fittings, making it perfect for furniture, cabinet making, and exhibition stand construction.
