The DrillMate by Milescraft is just the tool to provide you with the precision and ease of drilling straight holes all of the time.

Need to drill on the edge of a workpiece or on round stock?
The DrillMate has centring channels built into the bottom of the base, which will also accommodate drilling any round stock up to 76mm diameter. The DrillMate has four non-slip rubber feet on the base of the tool, which will also prevent marring. Worried about the depth of the holes you need to drill? This tool has a built in depth stop and spring action that controls the rate of the drill penetration and return.

It worked nicely for the job on hand, easier for smaller jobs than a bench drill press.
Its a very good unit but it should have a 13mm chuck. Why bother putting a 10mm? The rubber feet should NOT have to be removed when mounting to a board. Part from that it's an excellent unit.

Just got the drill guide and found it to be perfect for my workshop.
In the throes of building a portable bench vise and table which needs holes for bench dogs/ clamps. Guide allows me to drill accurate and perpendicular holes exactly where I need. Great inexpensive addition.
