A cyclone dust extractor is the professional solution for those looking to take their dust extraction to the next level. With inline cyclone extraction, the bulk of the debris and dust is channelled into an easily emptied drum before the dust hits the filter and waste bag. This means fewer changes of cartridge filters and waste bags. The filter does not clog as fast, so your extraction efficiency remains higher for longer. Power
The Sherwood SCDC-1500-Z has more than enough power for the compact workshop. At 1100CFM (cubic feet per minute) the 1125W (1.5HP) motor provides exceptional suction whilst still being able to be run on a standard 10A house plug. This unit has more than enough power to handle 2 machines at once through its two 100mm intakes or 125mm single intake. Unlike single stage dust extractors, these are high static pressure/low volume. This means that although the CFM is lower than a single stage machine, this unit provides more than enough dust collection to handle multiple machines simultaneously.
Filtration
Included as standard is the pleated filter that removes particles down to 1 micron in size. Cleaning the filter is a breeze using the built-in agitator – simply turning the handle will dislodge caked-in dust and shake it down into the collection bag.
Compact Size
Compared to other cyclone extraction set ups, the wall-mount capability for the impeller housing allows the whole unit to fit in to a much more compact footprint. Other cyclone systems require a frame to hold the bulk of the machine and allow the dust drum to be removed. With this design, the wall is holding all of the weight of the machine, allowing easy drum removal and bag changes.
Installation
Mounting brackets are included with the machine so that the impeller housing can be simply mounted onto your workshop wall. It requires standard 10A power so no additional wiring will be needed. The collection drum is easily moved out from under the extraction, and two quick-release piston clamps hold the lid securely to the drum. This unit is perfect for a small to medium garage workshop or small professional workshop.

Frameless Funnelling
Unlike other two stage extraction systems, the wall mount cyclone system eliminates the bulky frame, allowing the system to be stored neatly against your workshop wall.
