Workshop Cleaning & Care Kit

  • Workshop Cleaning & Care Kit COBBEEK-1

You've spent your hard earned money on tools. Why is it that we don't spend the time and money taking care cleaning and protecting them?

This workshop cleaning and care kit aims to solve this in one simple purchase. Clean, Shine then Protect. 3 Simple Steps.

Clean with Shield Technology Restore Blade Bit Cleaner - 500mL

Blade and bit cleaner that works well without the nasty ingredients.

Meeting the requests from professionals and amateurs, for a fast working pitch and resin remover.  Shield Technology has produced a water-based, biodegradable product which works fast - very fast. Unlike products which are hydrocarbon-based, there is no detrimental effect associated with the transfer of the cleaner to the timber being processed.  As many will know, there is a move away from solvent-based paint systems to more environmentally friendly water-based products.  The problem is that the presence of any hydrocarbon on the timber will spoil water-based paint finishes.

Shine with 'u Beaut EEE Ultrashine

A cut and polish paste designed to be used in conjunction with Shellawax specifically for the use of woodturners. It can also be used for restoration, french polishing and over most other finishes to give a smoother and brighter finish. The secret to this finish is the addition of tripoli power (a cutting compound) that does a similar job to surface finishes that it does to metals and makes the surface smooth and clear, leaving a strong smooth surface.

Protect with Rust Preventing Camelia Oil Lubricant

Japanese craftsmen have used this oil for generations as an effective rust inhibitor. It can also be used as a liquid lubricant when sharpening if water is not suitable. Traditional tools and knives are made of carbon steel. Many of the very best tools are made of high carbon steel and cast iron, both which rust.

Camellia Oil is a natural oil made from the seeds of an evergreen plant in the camellia genus. The seeds are cultivated in Asia and pressed to produce the camellia oil. The oil is very light and unlike other natural oils, it's not likely to dry and gum up.

Our Camellia Oil is bottled in a 240ml container. The spray applicator makes applying very easy. Imported from Japan.
