Skip tooth blades are the most popular blade, nuff said. They're fantastic because they reduce the amount of heat you generate by literally skipping every second tooth, forming a space between the teeth called a gullet, which then cools the blades down as you use them. Now this means that the cut isn't as fine, however we use these on pretty much everything we do and they work fantastically, so we recommend them highly to anyone who isn't a pre-emininent Oxford scroll sawing scholar.
