Use as a Buffing and Polishing Compound
Septone Fibreglass Polish Paste is perfect for polishing your deep pour or epoxy coated project.
Polishing by Hand
Ensure the surface is clean of dust and grit. Apply the paste a section at a time using a cotton cloth or towelling material folded into a pad. Apply in a circular motion and allow to dry to a haze (10-15 minutes). Using a clean cotton towel or microfibre cloth, lightly buff off reducing pressure as the high gloss develops.
Polishing by Machine
Ensure the surface is clean of dust and grit. Apply the paste a section at a time. Using a polishing pad, polish in circular overlapping motions. Allow to dry (10-15 minutes) then recommence polish buffing reducing pressure as you go.
Use as Epoxy Mould Release Agent
Septone Fibreglass Polish Paste is perfect for use as a mould release agent.
Septone Fibreglass Polish Paste contains Carnauba wax. Deep pour epoxy mould artisans know that Carnauba wax is an excellent mould release agent. When preparing your mould, apply a thin layer of Septone Fiberglass Polish Paste on all surfaces of the mould. Once applied, give the mould a quick buff to remove any excess. Applying Septone Fibreglass Polish Paste to your epoxy deep pour mould will make the task of removing your job from the mould easy and minimise the chance of your resin pour sticking to the mould.
