A Gents saws is a small dovetailing saw with a straight turned handle. The name colloquially comes from the term that a gent (hobbyist) would use a saw of this nature. It is a fine traditional ground tooth saw suitable for making joints in very small woodwork such as dovetailing, musical instruments, model-making etc.
