CNC Router Machines

A CNC router (Or Computer Numerical Control router) is a computer-controlled cutting machine used for cutting various hard materials, such as wood, composites, aluminium, steel, plastics, and foams. CNC routers can perform the tasks of many workshop machines such as panel saws, spindle moulder/router tables, and the boring machines. A CNC router is very similar in concept to a CNC milling machine. Instead of routing by hand, tool paths are controlled via computer numerical control - most commonly by designing the cutting path on a computer, then loading that cutting path into the machine which then moves on three axes' to cut the desired shape.

Of course there is a wide variety of sizes and shapes of machines, plus infinite applications for both home woodworkers and cabinet shops - with attachments such as laser cutters and fourth axis controllers to increase functionality. Plus there is a lot that can be done by using a wide variety of different cutters.

Here at Timbecon we specialize in offering high-quality, "turnkey" bench-mounted CNC's - suitable for serious hobbyists as well as trade users that don't require a full-size machine due to space constraints or have specific work that would be better suited to a smaller CNC to free up space/time on their full-size CNC's.
