A lightweight alternative to the Cast-Iron Router Tables are available now. The only change is the swapping out of the precision-milled cast-iron table with a precision manufactured MDF table top, designed specifically for long-life in woodworking shop. It is produced from 32mm-thick HMR (High Moisture Resistant) with 2mm black PVC edge banding. The white material is phenolic - a durable and long-lasting polymer that will withstand many years of friction from timber passing over it.
The massive 810x610mm table is checked for dead flatness prior to leaving the factory so you know you're getting a table-top that is the equal of the cast-iron tops and as long as it is not exposed to long-term humidity will retain its shape for many years of faithful service.
It comes with a combined 3/4in mitre and 5/16in t-track pre-installed so you can use the mitre guide (included when purchasing the stand) as well as being able to purchase aftermarket mitre guides and mount any shop-made jigs compatible with our t-track range.
The stand to suit the 810x610mm (32x24in) cast-iron table is the ultimate base for the ultimate cast-iron top. The posts are manufactured from heavy tubular steel with thick steel braces that provide a rock-solid base for the heavy-duty top. It comes standard with the remote switch and mitre guide as well as handy built-in router bit organizers on the sides and retractable wheel kit.
The mount plate aperture measures 305x230mm and therefore can have both the BakeLite or aluminium mounting plates (available separately) or the Router Lift
mounted into it. The lip around the edge of the mount plate recess has eight leveling adjustable woodscrews to adjust the platform that the plate sits on to make sure it is dead-flat with the smooth and flat MDf/phenolic table top.
