Elongate your router with a reliable, heavy-duty collet extension
Get a longer reach from your router when mounted in a table by using this collet extension. It will add as much as 45mm to the shaft length of your existing bit making it easier to access when changing over and setting up. Great for using short 1/4in shaft length bits in a table-mounted application.
The collet extensions are only available with a 1/2in shaft and can be purchased with a 1/4in or 1/2in collet pre-installed. Due to the tight machining tolerances (0.1mm maximum allowable run-out is always tested and checked prior to leaving the factory), each collet is machine-matched with the shaft so the collets cannot be interchanged on a single extension shaft.
*Not recommended for running router bits greater than 50mm diameter.
