The Sherwood 2HP 1500CFM Single Stage Dust Extractor is a powerful dust collection solution with a robust 1500W induction motor, delivering exceptional 1500CFM suction capacity. Capable of handling up to two machines simultaneously, its innovative cast-aluminium radial fin impeller efficiently moves wood chips into the collection bag, optimising motor performance and enabling high dust extraction volumes.

The durable, medical grade HEPA Pleated Filter Cartridge efficiently captures particles down to a minuscule 0.3 – 0.1 microns, whilst the 153L collection bag ensures ample collection capacity. With a single 5in dust outlet for larger hose configurations, or a twin 4in Y-connector. All these features place the SWDC-1500-THEPA a step above its competition, making it an indispensable addition or upgrade to your workshop.

Powerful Suction

The SWDC-1500-THEPA has a highly quality TEFC (totally enclosed fan-cooled) Capacitor-Start Induction motor with a powerful 1500W output. It features air suction capacity of 1500CFM and has a max static pressure of 10in. This delivers exception suction and grunt, allowing you to connect up to two machines at once.

Upgraded Impeller & Ducting

Static pressure is produced by the 320mm cast-aluminium radial fin impeller to move the wood chips into the collection bag. This innovative patent-pending design blends the benefits of light weight and durability. This increases the rotational performance under the load of the dust extractor, reducing strain on the motor and allowing for extraction of larger dust volumes. The upgraded steel duct from the impeller to the filter improves performance and reliability and with just a glance you'll know when it's time to haul out the chips thanks to clear bottom bags.

HEPA Pleated Filter Cartridge

HEPA filters have a remarkable minimum efficiency of 99.95% for particles as small as 0.3 microns, and 95% for particles at 0.1 microns. To put this into perspective, 1 micron is merely 1/10,000 of a centimetre, making the HEPA filter effective against particles many times smaller than the dust mites that feed on dust! The design of the filter maximises surface area while ensuring minimal airflow resistance, ensuring that your workspace remains nearly free of ultrafine particles and your extractor performs at its best

The filter includes a handle to easily rotate the internal brush which dislodges trapped particles, conveniently falling into the collection bag below. This method of hassle-free maintenance not only enhances the performance of your dust extractor but also prolongs its lifespan. This feature is especially useful during extended use, with a recommendation to clean the filter internally by turning the brush after every four hours of operation.
