A common criticism of a full-face respirator is the stifling and isolating effect it has on people. Unlike other powered respirators, this respirator does not cover the whole head - something users of full-face masks complain of. It has a simple power pack which attaches to the waist and feeds the power up to the respirator itself. Inside the respirator is a small motor that runs a fan that circulates air around the mask.

The mask itself is made of a soft malleable material and is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time with two generous headstraps to hold it in place.

Combining the included P1 main and pre-filters means that filtration is rated down to 0.4microns – removing all hazardous wood dust from the air you’re breathing. It comes in a kit with 3 P1 main filters and 10 pre-filters as a well as a handy, durable storage case. The standard P1 and pre-filters are available to be purchased separately as required. Also available separately is an optional carbon-loaded P2 filter that can filter nuisance organic vapours such as the fumes from most spray painting and other fume-generating applications.
