Part of the Industrial Line of CMT circular saw blades, both blades have a negative 2º rake to ensure maximum control when feeding the boards as well as an aggressive 38° ATB (Alternate Tooth Bevel) grind for slicing cleanly through all materials such two-sided melamine, plywood and across the grain timber. Due to the configuration of the teeth the quality of cut in all materials is second to none leaving incredibly smooth faces and edges on all materials and is designed to work efficiently in high-volume environments for extended periods of time.
Classified as an Orange Chrome Blade, upgrades over the existing, standard CMT Melamine & Fine Cut Off Blades are -
Special Industrial Chromium Micrograin Carbide (0.5µm) reduces the cutting edge abrasion; while improving cut quality and extending the tool life. Combined with Mirror Finish Sharpening, which features less than 0.25µm Rmax edge roughness; it guarantees extra-clean cuts and extended tool life.
They also have a special Chrome Coating which -
- Protects from overheating
- Protects against corrosion and rust
- Reduces resin build-ups
- Improves chip ejection
- Improves performance and cutting life
They are also a Low-Noise Saw Blade - slots are filled with orange polyurethane that reduces vibration and noise (<86 dB); whilst improving the cutting quality and extending the tool's lifetime.
