Drill shelf pin patterns accurately every time with the Baladonia Shelf Pin Jig. The 3mm-thick clear perspex body makes it easy to see your work, simply the slide the strong steel tube fence up against the edge of your carcass for easy registration, and use the retractable shelf pin drill bit to drill 5mm shelf pin holes on the industry-standard 32mm hole centres. The jig will allow you to drill up to 11 holes at once either 37 or 63mm from the front or back of the carcass and the fence can be swapped to work on both sides of the carcass.
The dependable shelf pin drill bit has a 1/4in hex shank for quick-change chucks and is designed for drilling hundreds of holes in all materials. It automatically centres the high-quality M2 HSS brad point bit perfectly in the centre of each hole and will create a row of shelf support holes perfectly in line on your work piece. The drilling depth is adjustable via the grub screw located on the body the bit.
With locating pin holes machined on either end, you can continue to drill a series of holes past the 11 built into the jig body.
Comes standard with the 5mm self-centring drill bit - more popular in the Australian market. Also available separately is the 1/4in bit for older-style shelf pins.
