Standard carbide cutters - Negative Rake upgrade available

The Midi Easy Hollower come equipped with a Standard Carbide Cutter. Or you can upgrade to a Negative Rake (NR) Carbide Cutter. These NR cutters offer better control with a less aggressive cut. This means the Negative Rake Carbide Cutter minimises the severity of unexpected catches that can occur when creating a hollow form. The Negative Rake Cutter also provides superior controlled cuts and clean finishes in acrylic and resins.

Midi Easy Hollower #1 – Straight Neck EWT-6601

The first stage in turning a hollow form is to begin removing the bulk of the material from the centre of the vessel. And the Midi-Size Easy Hollower #1 is the perfect tool to do this. Tool supplied in this configuration:

Midi Easy Hollower #2 – Shallow Swan Neck EWT-6602

The second stage in turning a hollow form is to remove the material located between the 9 o’clock to 11 o’clock positions, or just slightly below the curve of the vessel. This process is accomplished with the Easy Wood Tools Midi-Size Easy Hollower #2. Tool supplied in this configuration:
