It has a reasonable mouth opening of approximately 250 x 110mm and is tapered for efficient dust flow. It is great as a basic to build a larger hood or simply installing on a workbench or machine to collect dust near the action – such as a drill press.
This dust hood has a decent size inlet (250 x 110mm) that is great for extracting around smaller work areas where space is an issue or greater control is required over the area being extracted. It has the most common nominal 4in outlet with a 93mm inner diameter and 100mm outer diameter.
