These 6TPI Scroll Saw Blades are the industry standard
Olson make some of the world's best scroll saw blades because they use a unique tooth design that allows the blade to cut on both the up and down stroke. This little element of genius from the specialist manufacturer means they cut a little slower for more control, which is useful in delicate fretwork.
- Splinter-free finishes ensured by the precision tooth design
- Slower speeds for enhanced control and accuracy on tricky or delicate workpieces
- A huge variety of materials supported
- Two-way cutting action for longer life than standard scroll saw blades
Splinter-free scroll saw finishes
It also means the finish is always smooth with clean, sharp, splinter-free edges in hard/soft wood, plywood, plastic and Corian.
What's more, the two-way cutting action prevents melting behind the cut in most plastic including acrylic, lexan (polycarbonate), fiberglass, and plexiglas. It has no top or bottom for easy blade installation. Blade can be turned over for a fresh new set of teeth.
