Finishing Waterstone - WS-6000
Used for the final sharpening process to get a sharp edge on your tools. Simply sprinkle a few drops of water on the surface of the stone for lubrication and put that razor-sharp edge on your tool. DO NOT store finishing stones submerged in water like standard waterstones as it will ruin the properties of the tightly packed grit and will not leave you with a smooth finish. Tapered convex and bevelled edges of these stones makes sharpening gouges and V-tools a breeze. The convex side deburrs the inside of the gouge, whilst the bevelled side deburrs the inside of the V-tools. Taper provides correct width of stone for most tools. 110mm long, big end 50mm wide x 19mm thick tapering to 10mm wide at the small end.
