It has a 1/2hp motor driving a 6” horizontally mounted dry aluminium oxide wheel, which has been geared to run slowly to ensure that the blade edge is not blued (burnt). The solid cast iron table is height adjustable to expose the wheel as required. A fully adjustable planer knife clamp and guide can sharpen planer blades uniformly so when they are re-mounted in the machine, they are perfectly balanced. Read More...
