Mortice Chisel Sharpening Kit - MCS-01
Sharpening square mortice bits has been difficult up until now. This kit solves the problem of sharpening the bits by providing a quick and easy solution. Simply lap the outside of the bits on the included diamond plate, then sharpen the inner edges by mounting the correct size bush into the countersink bit and then slid it into the bit and by hand to sharpen. Different kits now available for different size mortice bits.

Mortice Kit - MAS-1
Convert your drill press into a morticer. Will attach to most standard bench or floor drill presses with a quill (collar) size of 55-65mm. A range of shims are included in the kit to bush to the correct size. Also included in the kit are four standard sized mortice bits - 1/4”, 5/16”, 3/8”, 1/2”. Comes with a fence which has integral horizontal and vertical clamps to ensure minimal movement of the work piece. Comes in a blow-moulded carry case to store when not in use.

This mortice machine has all the features required in all but extreme morticing applications. The 1hp motor is capable of driving the massive 1in mortice bits (largest size commonly available) into all types of material. It is a 4-pole motor, which provides more punch when placed under load. It has a downward travel of 250mm through the use of its ratcheted handle. The mast is mounted on a dovetailed shape mast so there is no slop in the head when plunged.
