Then you have an exposed machine thread for attaching permanent or temporary items to your timber basework using the matching threaded tee nuts. Capture tee-nuts against the direction of pull on timber surfaces to enable machine screws to be held soundly to your workpiece.

Medium Duty Bed Brackets - MDBB-2
Beds seem to be a popular project as do our bracket fittings. This set slots in nicely to fill a need – flush mounting. It has all the benefits of the heavy-duty bed brackets, but doesn’t require a bed-head bracket to work. Included in the kit is four 130mm rail brackets, as well as 12 screw nuts. The nut needs to be mounted flush in the head. Simply drill a hole 10mm diameter and screw the nut. To get the head flush with the board. You will also need to drill a small recess 15mm diameter.

Knock-down Nuts - KDCN-6
A range of nuts for use with the knock-down bolts. The cap nut is used for when the two end pieces are visible. The screw nuts are used for when no visible holes are required and either come flanged to line up with the surface of the piece to be joined or unflanged so it can be sunk into the timber. These have a hex head tapped into the end to screw in place.

Heavy-Duty Bed Bracket - HDBB-2
This bed bracket is constructed of solid 4mm steel plate and, when attached is tightened via two 10mm screws. This removes any movement found in the standard bed bracket sets. Sold as a set of four for one bed.
