Dovetail Chisels (Oire Nomi Takei) - UN-06
These elegant chisels are suitable for light, delicate work such as hand cutting dovetails and box joints as well removing fine shavings from the timber surface etc. The long, slender red oak handles provide excellent control when doing fine work. It is recommended to use these chisels hand-held or with light taps of a mallet. Sharpening before use is recommended. The blade length is 90mm, overall length is 350mm.

Japanese Hammers - D-080
One face is flat for driving nails, the other is slightly domed so that the final blows drive the nail flush without damaging the work. The head is laminated with hardened steel faces on a steel centre. They have long slender handles for a greater “leverage" on delicate work.

These chisels are suitable for most standard fine woodworking applications; such as wood joints, channels etc. They have all the features that make Japanese chisels a pleasure to work with. A steel hoop is installed on the red oak handle so that it does not crack when a hammer or mallet is used. Sharpening before use is recommended. The blade width is 36mm, length is 60mm, overall length is 230mm.
