The unit comes with a 44mm diameter drive drum but if you want to use it as a drum sander you are not restricted to this size. An accessory kit with 25mm and 60mm drums is available.

It is designed to be used with 610x100mm sanding belts, the most common size used in Australia and is available everywhere. A belt comes with the kit to get you started.

The unit is being powered by a drill press motor which on most drills is a powerful 3/4hp. More than most bench mount belt/disc sanders.

The table of the drill press acts as a big solid table rest which can be set at right angles to the belt or tilted as required - further enhancing the WASP's capabilities.
